So much has changed the last few months. God has blessed us with the miracle of pregnancy again. He always has a way of showing up BIG. We had been trying for a year and a half and just started the fertility process again. With our daughter, we tried for over 3 years and were well into the fertility process when God gave us her. He literally showed us that His timing is what counts. We paid a down payment on IVF and 2 days later I found out I was pregnant. With this miracle, we were just starting the whole process of my husband and I getting checked out again. What really blows my mind with His timing this time is that it was days before the date (1 year) that my mom was killed in a car accident. God told me I am taking this awful memory that made March 2nd the worst day ever and I am turning it into my glory. I am blessing you with a child that you have prayed for to make the pain of this day a little easier. It helped so much knowing that we had this exciting news to celebrate at such a hard time in our lives. I know my mom held this baby and loved on him or her before God gave her/him to me. God is so good to us.
Before I got pregnant, I was getting back into running and loving it. I was back at my pre-pregnancy weight, eating pretty healthy, and working out routinely. Once I found out I was pregnant I stopped working out. I stopped working out because I was so sick ALL day and night. I am sure a lot of you can relate. I was super sick during my pregnancy with my daughter but this was WAY worse lol. All I could eat was carbs, carbs, and more carbs. I wanted only juice. Water was the last thing I could think about drinking. Finally, 16 weeks in and I feel like I can ease back into working out. I feel like I can eat healthy again and drink water:) It is funny how you do whatever you can to make it through the first trimester. I have a lot of friends who never got sick their first trimester and I envy them:) I also have friends that were sick the whole time. It is so different for each woman and with each pregnancy. I am grateful for this pregnancy and the chance to raise another child alongside my husband. So since I am finally feeling better I am going to make it my goal to get back into blogging, writing, reading God's word, exercising, eating healthy, and motivating others on their journey:) It has been way to long and I am ready to get back at it:) Let's hold each other accountable:)
