Lately I have been really paying attention to the chemicals and extra additives that are being put into our foods. It is really disturbing to me that an ingredient that is banned from Europe for causing disease is ok in the U.S. Over and over I hear people say, “well you have to die from something.” I believe that those that say that have not been through loosing a parent or relative to cancer. A lot of things in this world can cause cancer. What we eat is becoming more and more of a concern for this. Processed foods, sugar, pesticides, and more are filling our cabinets and we are seeing more and more diseases appear in people at a young age. Since losing my dad to cancer I have really wanted to help others pay attention to what they are putting in their bodies. I have partnered with an amazing company who feels the exact same way. Together we are teaching others the best foods to eat and also offering organic nutrition to help fill in the gaps. Let’s face it:) It is so hard to eat good all the time and we shouldn’t have too. These organic superfoods are taking out the bad stuff that the food industry is putting in our bodies. If you are lacking energy, feeling bloated , dealing with brain fog, and want help feeling better than let’s talk. Shoot me an email at [email protected]. I will support your family and you every step of the way to feeling better inside and out. It is so important to teach our children how to fuel these bodies that the Lord has blessed us with.
Now back to the purpsoe of this post🤪 I have not been happy with what is going in my almond milk so I decided to make my own. It taste so much better than store bought. It didn’t take long and lasts 4 days. Check out the recipe:
❤️Soak 1 cup of raw organic almonds in water overnight.
❤️ Next day, drain water and place almonds in blender. Add a pinch of himalayan salt. Add 4 cups of filtered water. Add 3 pitted dates. Add either a tsp of organic vanilla extract or pure maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
❤️ Grab a clean cloth or nylon hosiery and place over a bowl. Slowly pour the mixture over cloth. Squeeze excess milk and keep pouring. You will have tons of almonds left in the cloth but that’s ok:) You can do less almonds and water if you want to make smaller batches. I use this for my shakes and coffee so it goes fast. Keep in a container in the refrigerator.
Let me know if you make it. Have fun with it and add different ingredients to flavor your milk. You can add fruit, cinnamon, or cacoa powder as well.
Enjoy 😊
