His Love
This time of year never gets easier but one thing that is easy is excepting all the love that our Lord gives us. There is something so powerful in the way He loves us. It reminds me of the lyrics " He loves like a hurricane, I am a tree bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy." His love wraps around us swaying us here and there. It doesn't matter where we go His love is always with us. We feel it even more in time of tragedy. I can remember so vividly seeing God's love in everything I came across after my mom was taken from us in a car accident. In the trees, the birds singing, the sun setting, the wind, the fog, the silence of the early morning. I could feel and see Him and her right with me. That is how I made it through that first year. It blows my mind when I look back and think about how close I felt Him to me. I know that is the feeling that I will feel when I get to dwell in His presence forever. As I sit here with tears streaming down my face all I can shout is GREAT ARE YOU LORD. You exist, you are real, you are here, you are always with us. Thank you Lord. Thank you for loving us so much that you will never leave us. Your love is what I pray the whole world will see and feel.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.”
Psalms 27:1, 4 NKJV
