Do you ever have those moments when you are working out and it is like everything disappears and it is just God and you? I jam out to worship music while I exercise. There have been times when I would be working out on the elliptical really getting into a song and then bust out in tears of thankfulness. This happened a lot while I was pregnant. hehe. I read a quote today and it made me think of those amazing times. There is nothing like being that free and all your walls coming down. You feel God's love pouring into your soul and overflowing. The quote from my devotional called Pray Fit stated that every workout can be a time of praise and worship. IT REALLY CAN!! Our bodies are God's. Our bodies are His temple and we must treat them that way daily. We must be mindful of what we put in our bodies and what we do to them. It makes perfect sense that while working out you can totally worship and praise God especially since He created us. Take the time today and focus on what you need to change in your life to treat your body as God's. Make a list and put it on your fridge, bathroom mirror, in your car, at work. Be reminded daily that your body is a gift from God and we need to treat it that way. Make the time to exercise and worship Him while you do. You will see a difference and will want to workout even more:)
